Jason Leszkowicz, D.V.M.

Dr. Jason Leszkowicz

Jason Leszkowicz, D.V.M., was born and raised in Kitts Hill, Ohio, about 2-1/2 hours southeast of Cincinnati. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Cincinnati in 1999 and St. Georges University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, West Indies in 2006. During 2004 while in Grenada, Hurricane Ivan hit the Caribbean island and his class was permitted to complete the term at Kansas State University. The class returned to Grenada for one last term before heading for their final year abroad. In 2006, his clinical year finished at the University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland. In his many travels he has enjoyed all aspects of veterinary medicine but has special interests in dental treatments, ophthalmology, surgery, and diagnostic imaging. He has now found a home here and spends his free time with his wife, daughter Lila, and two dogs, a Whippet named Jet Allspark and a Miniature Pinscher named Lucy.

Emily Miller, D.V.M.

Emily Miller, D.V.M., was raised in Loveland, Ohio and was a graduate of Cincinnati Country Day School. She attended the University of Colorado-Boulder and graduated in 2003 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies. She went on to work for a non-profit animal sanctuary for a number of years before starting vet school in 2008. She was incredibly fortunate to attend St. Georges University School of Veterinary Medicine on the beautiful island of Grenada in the West Indies. She completed her clinical year at The Ohio State University and graduated in 2012. She spends her free time with her family, both two and four legged.

Karmen Widmeyer, Business Manager

Karmen has lived in Maineville since 1994 with her husband and 3 children. Her "family" also consists of a Shih Tzu, "Gizmo" and a Golden Doodle, "Picasso" and a trouble making cat named “Rudy”. She has been part of the Lebanon Equine Clinic family since 2000 and is very excited about being a part of the Lebanon Small Animal Clinic due to her true love for animals. She looks forward to meeting you and the rest of your "family".

 
Monica Hirth, Lebanon Veterinary Clinic Receptionist / Reiki Practitioner

Monica Hirth, Receptionist/Reiki Practitioner

Monica moved from Ohio’s snowbelt to Blanchester, Ohio in 2002. She enjoys adding holistic alternatives to the care of her family, including her pets. She is a Reiki Practitioner and an avid therapeutic grade essential oil advisor. She enjoys continuing her knowledge by taking classes and workshops for holistic care.

Deborah Somers, Registered Veterinary Technician

Deborah grew up in Lansing, Michigan but has lived in Ohio since 2009. She earned her Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology at the University of Cincinnati, Blue Ash. She is very excited about her career as a registered veterinary technician. She has one dog, Lambert and her recent addition to the pet family is her cat Colonel. In her spare time she loves to play classical piano and spend time with her family and friends.

Heather Tipton, Veterinary Assistant

Heather moved to Hillsboro, Ohio in 2003 from Loxahatchee, Florida. She recently graduated with her Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology from Bradford School in Columbus, Ohio and is preparing to take her state licensing exam. She owns one dog, Hunter, and loves living on a horse farm. She is very excited about joining the team at Lebanon Small Animal Clinic.
